Eligibility: All members whose Art League Rhode Island (ALRI) dues are current are invited to submit one piece of artwork. To check the status of your membership, email the office at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (401) 861-0500.

Hanging Fee: Members may submit one piece of artwork for $35. Payment may be made by check and sent to Art League Rhode Island, One Avenue of the Arts, Providence, RI 02903 or online through PayPal.
Artwork: All media accepted. Artwork previously exhibited with ALRI is not permitted. All work must be original and current. Work found to be copied from copyrighted work will not be hung (no reprints). All work must be exhibition ready to install with the appropriate hardware. No saw tooth hangers or clips. Work that does not adhere to the guidelines will not be exhibited.
Installation pieces: Any member entering an installation work must submit a detailed description of the installation including dimensions, hanging template and any electrical requirements to email@example.com
NOTE: Installation pieces must be approved upon registration. Members requiring special installation of work must be available to help if requested. Pedestals will be provided for 3D work if requested.
Size limit: Maximum size up to 36″ wide including frame. Members may have multiple pieces (diptych, triptych etc.) to make up one work. 3D work will be moved on a regular basis for events. The overall footprint of 3D work should be 24″ x 24″ inches or less, with a weight limit of 30 pounds.

Or, fill in the Entry Form electronically and send by email to firstname.lastname@example.org with subject line, 2019 Spring Members Exhibition. Attach a JPG of the artwork, 6 inches in either direction at 300 dpi. Include your name and title of work in the file name.

Print out and attach the Artwork ID Form to the back of your artwork.
To include or replace your current bio/resume in the ALRI notebook, include an electronic copy with your registration, and bring a copy upon delivery of your work, typed on letter size paper (two pages maximum).
Sales & Commissions: Work may be for sale or listed as Not for Sale (NFS); however, NO work may be listed as Price on Request (POR). Prices provided by the artist should reflect the 30% commission taken by ALRI on all artwork sold.
Liability – Legal Agreement & Participant’s Waiver: Submission of work automatically waives any claim for damage or loss against ALRI or The VETS, including the officers, members, and employees. ALRI will exercise reasonable care in handling all entries, but will not assume any liability for loss or damage while in ALRI’s possession. Work should be independently insured by the member.
Usage Rights: The artist retains all copyright interests or claims that they have in their art. By submitting images, you give ALRI the right to use and reproduce the images to market and document the exhibition and to enable the image to be part of an online exhibition. Artist’s recognition is provided with any use. ALRI reserves the right to adjust any deadline(s) as the result of causes beyond its immediate control. Payment of the submission fee indicates acknowledgement of all terms and conditions.
