Anyone can join ART LEAGUE RHODE ISLAND as a member at any time. You don’t have to be an artist!
Elected Artists are artists whose works range from contemporary to traditional in subject and from emerging to nationally recognized in experience. Elected Artist status is granted through a credentialed, jury process. Our elected membership represents more than 120 artists, hailing from 32 of the 39 cities and towns across our state. You’ll see these artists in museums, galleries and collections across the country and abroad and in our artist-member catalogs (see our 2015 edition). The ALRI selection process for new Elected Artist occurs annually. Click here for details and an application.
Members are artists, art lovers, supporters, professionals, family members, teachers, and novices. They serve on our committees and on our board, along with Elected Members. Together, our Members and Elected Members play a role in the thriving culture of visual arts in Rhode Island. To become a Member, simply join here.
